On arrival at Rome airport we will be met and transferred to our centrally located Religious House style lodgings.

DAY 3: Wednesday 31st May – CCR Golden Jubilee Celebrations Begin

Papal Event: We will proceed to St Peters Square where the Holy Father is expected to host a General Audience with pilgrims from around the world. Today the CCR Golden Jubilee Events commence (locations TBC).

Activities over the next few days will include:
• Youth festival
• Special gatherings for Theologians
• Charismatic Communities Presentations
• Schools of Evangelization
• Ecumenical Forum
• Opportunity to gather for Praise and Worship
• Adoration and Evangelisation
• A series of Workshops on various CCR topics

DAY 7: Sunday 4th June – Rome – Pentecost Celebration of the Golden Jubilee

We will proceed to St Peter’s Square this morning where Pope Francis will celebrate the CCR Golden Jubilee Mass of Pentecost with pilgrim representatives from all over the world.

DAY 8: Monday 5th June – Rome to Tel Aviv

• Transfer to Rome airport for flight connections to the Holy Land
• Arrive Tel Aviv airport
• Panoramic tour of the city
• Tour of Old Jaffa – see the Church of St Peter
• Transfer to accommodation

DAY 9: Tuesday 6th June – Via Caesarea & Haifa to The Sea of Galilee
• Transfer north to Caesarea Maritima for a guided exploration
• Continue north to Haifa
• Panoramic tour of the city
• Nearby visit Kibbutz Ramat Yohanan
• Visit Mt Carmel Stella Maris

DAY 10: Wednesday 7th June – Acre / Nazareth / Cana / Mt Tabor
• Travel north to Acre – guided visit of the Knights Halls and Crusader tunnels
• Journey east to Nazareth – visit Annunciation Basilica for Mass, Mary’s Well, Synagogue
• Continue east to Cana – opportunity for married couples to renew their wedding vows; single and widowed pilgrims receive a special blessing
• Transfer to Tiberias on the shores of Lake Galilee

DAY 11: Thursday 8th June – Sea of Galilee

• Ascend Mt Tabor for a time of reflection
• Mass on board a traditional sailing vessel in the centre of Lake Galilee.
• Visit and guided tour of the Nof Ginosar Kibbutz, within which is preserved the ‘Jesus boat’.
• Visit Capernaum
• See the ruins of Korazin.

DAY 12: Friday 9th June - Caesarea Philippi & Sea of Galilee
• Ascend the Mt Beatitudes for Mass
• Transfer north to Caesarea Philippi for a time of reflection
• Return to the Sea of Galilee – visit Tabgha – Church of the Primacy of Peter and the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes

DAY 13: Saturday 10th June – Via Beit She’an to Jerusalem

• Transfer south to Beit She’an – guided visit
• Foot of Mt Gilboa – swim in the natural warm springs
• Beit Alpha – view the Zodiac Synagogue
• Continue south through Jericho en route to Jerusalem

DAY 14: Sunday 11th June – Ein Karem & Bethlehem

• Transfer to the Israel Museum including Second Temple Model and Shrine of the Book
• Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum
• Ein Karem – site of Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth
• Travel out to Shepherd’s Field for Mass
• Bethlehem – visit the Church of the Nativity built over the stable where Jesus was born, Milk Grotto and Manger Square
• Return transfer to our accommodation in Jerusalem

DAY 15: Monday 12th June – Jerusalem

• Mt of Olives - visit the Church of the ‘Pater Noster’ and Chapel of the Ascension
• Enjoy a panoramic view over the city.
• Walk down the Palm Sunday Road
• Arrive at the Dominus Flevit for Mass
• Visit the Garden of Gethsemane where we enter the Church of the Agony.
• Enter the Church of St Peter in Gallicantu.
• Mt Zion – the Cenacle, room of the Last Supper and the Church of Dormition where Our Lady was assumed into heaven.

Jerusalem overnight (BD)

DAY 16: Tuesday 13th June – Jerusalem

• Walk and pray the Stations of the Cross through the Old City (including Ecce Homo)
• Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
• View the Dome of the Rock, El Aqsa Mosque and time for prayer at the Western Wall.
• Enter the Church of St Anne and visit the Pool of Bethesda.
• Travel out to Abu Gosh – visit the Benedictine Monastery
• Return to Jerusalem in time for dinner

DAY 17: Wednesday 14th June – Masada & travel to Jordan

• Transfer south to Masada – guided visit
• Qumran – visit the caves
• Afternoon border crossing into Jordan
• Transfer to our hotel on the Jordanian side of the Dead Sea

Dead Sea overnight (BD)

DAY 18: Thursday 15th June – Baptismal Site of Jesus / Mt Nebo / Dead Sea

• Visit Bethany Beyond the Jordan for exploration and opportunity to renew baptismal promises
• Ascend Mt Nebo for our memorable final Mass
• Time to float in the salty waters of the Dead Sea this afternoon from our hotel

DAY 19: Friday 16th June – Depart Jordan

Transfer to Amman airport for our homebound flight connections or extension to Petra.
